What I'm doing Now

I've ignored the practice of finance for too long, and I'm trying to change that now. Finance, economics, market dynamics— all of these forces that pulse beneath our western feet and move everything around us, drive our whole reality, decide the haves and have-nots... quite frankly I've been a mover in—and have been moved by—this system for some time, yet I have no idea how it works... which is starting to feel distinctly irresponsible. I owe everyone around me, and myself, a lot more— so I'm going deep.

I'm also thinking about how I can and should contribute to the conversation about AI and its effects on humanity. I can't think forever; I know that morally I need to find the space soon to make decisions, and to move, before it's too late for some or all of us.

Last year Janeé and I spent a couple months in Taiwan 🇹🇼 ending a previous five year hiatus. In the best way possible, nothing had changed. This spring and summer we are planning to mostly lay low in Las Vegas and put in some work necessary to continue our trajectory.
